Client: Wellington Free Ambulance
Project: Operation Heartbeat
Wellington Free Ambulance (WFA) wants Wellingtonians to “Take the Three Rs to Heart” with its new Operation Heartbeat community training programme, to help save the lives of those three people in the region who suffer from SCA each week. This new community initiative is designed to make Wellington the leading SCA-survival city in the southern hemisphere.
WFA wanted a leave behind pillowcase for all those who go through the school training programmes. The pillowcase needed to give instructions on how to perform the three rs so the students could practice at home, and teach their families. We designed a series of four monsters, each with different flavor and appeal. We created the musician, rocking out, strumming his guitar with the one eye, tattoos and head phones. The punk skater screams attitude with his piercings, tongue out studs. The sports monster is a afro, basketball lover, if you could see his bottom half he’d defiantly be wearing his pants low. Finally the girly fashion, accessory and shopping loving monster in her furry onesie, charming all the fellas.
