Little Help project
Client: AS Colour – Little Help Project
Project: T-shirt design
The Little Help Project is all about nurturing new t-shirt design talent, and every year run an Australasian competition with the top prize – 10k towards starting their own t-shirt brand. Damn, we were all over that like a rash, and were delighted to be selected as one of ten finalists, so stoked.
Our colorful language series was inspired by our love of colour and different colour processes. We wanted to take design speak to the streets, putting it on tees with playful illustrations of colour characters like rgb marker, cmyk spray can and black and white pencil with eraser. The characters are designed to have a retro feeling, but with fresh, street appeal.
We were thrilled the judges felt the love, but next it went out to the public, and all the facebooker likers for votes. AS Colour also selected one of the three designs of each finalist, and printed it, with each tee sold giving us ten likes. Damn it, we didn’t win, but we did come fourth with a total votes & sales of 793. Thanks for all those that voted, brought tees and helped make life prettier. You rock Little Help Project.
