World of gaming
Client: Capital E
Project: Event design, including poster, lightbox, billboard, newsletter and press ads
Capital E is an award-winning not-for-profit organization whose focus is children and their creativity. We love working with Cap E, especially because the brief always include creativity. Last October school holidays kids got to build mechanical marvels with traditional and modern Meccano, battle robots and pit their guitar skills against the computer as the traditional world of gaming came together with the electronic world in World of Games.
We brought together real photos of kids, adding pixilated graphics, like the pointy finger hand to represent computer and guitar, like the kids are in a virtual world. Both kids are excited, jumping and pointing around the large World of Games text which we used a combination of 3D pixalated text representing computer gaming, and meccano like building block text to represent more traditional gaming. Around the text, we have a mix of pixilated graphics, with a few actual pics of meccano. We added colored bands in the background like the colour bands on a tv to add a screen feel, plus make’s it super colurful and fun.
